John had his first plane ride this past week on our trip to Jacksonville. He did amazing and was a really good traveler. Despite the warm planes and having a 2 hour mechanical delay in Dallas he was a trooper and got many compliments from other passengers and shared lots of smiles with those sitting around us!

John's first meal
We're in escrow!
Our 800 sq ft house has been feeling very crowded with our new addition and all the baby things...so we began searching for another house within the past few months with the market being so great. We are excited to share that we are in escrow on a bank owned property in Truckee (Glenshire). It is a 3 bedroom, 2.5 bath 1,611 sq ft house with a oversized 2 car garage (storage...so exciting) and a great floor plan. It is on a quiet street and has a wonderful front yard, back yard and good views to boot!
Six months old
John turned six months old on Friday. He is a thriving baby boy and everyday he makes us smile. Over the past month he has really fine tuned sitting up, rolls over in bed and now loves to sleep on his tummy, scoots across his playmat (primarily backwards) is continuing to teeth (no teeth yet...), dances when he is standing, grabs his toes and sucks on them, is standing with the support of the coffee table or our legs, loves to rock from side to side in his bumbo, laughs when we laugh and loves to talk with us. John thinks that Calie is hilarious and loves it when she licks his toes and when he gets to pet her. He also feeds her treats with a huge smile on his face. He is recognizing signs and continues to LOVE books.
John's first 4th of July
We watched the fireworks from our deck. Once John saw the fireworks he was in awe and just chilled out watching the bright lights and looked amazed by the loud booms. It was a wonderful first 4th of July!
