Nine months old

This post is a little behind schedule...this month John turned nine months on the 10th! He weighed in at 21.7 lbs and was 28 1/2 inches long. He remains an extremely happy baby and the joy of our lives. Just before John turned nine months he began standing without holding onto anything. Is cruising along all the furniture and continues to love his toys, books, singing, babbling, his play area and just hanging out and smiling at everyone that he sees. Calie is still the coolest to the little man and he has a name for her..kkkaalkkka...so cute. He calls her in the morning and from her playzone all the time. John has begun eating cheerios and continues to love all kinds of foods. His newest food is chicken which he likes with rice and veggies. His hair has begun to grow...a little...and it is quite blond. John has become somewhat of a night owl and thinks that a 9:30 bedtime is just perfect! We will get some pictures up soon of the little guy for you all to see!

Our hardwood flooring is installed - handscraped oak throughout the downstairs!

Cabinets...yes, we have cabinets!

Our custom cabinets were installed this week and we are so excited about our new kitchen! The walls and trim throughout the downstairs were painted early in the week. The cabinets are knotty alder with a clear coat. Granite counter tops will be in next week and the wood flooring will be in by the weekend. We are moving right along...stay posted!
