We took John to the State Fair in late July - we had a great day, the weather was perfect (not too hot) and John did amazingly well. Our favorite part was the agriculture center and John loved all the baby animals.

Tooth #12

Today John's 4th molar popped through - this one is the bottom left. So he now has all 8 of the front teeth - 4 on top and 4 on the bottom and 4 molars! Now we understand why he had a rough night last night!

Nineteen months old

John has had a very busy month. He continues to amaze and entertain us every day. Over the past month he is certainly taller, has more hair and is oh so active. His favorite thing is being outside and he has become a pro at opening and closing the sliding glass door and screen. He has also helped with lots of watering, gardening and playing in his little pool and sandbox. He is adding more signs which he uses daily and is adding new words to his vocabulary as well as starting to put more and more words together. He loves his books and we read alot! He also zooms around on his cars all the time. Our deck rugs and furniture have been a huge hit and some nights John and I lay outside to read with pillows and blankets and snuggle in! John loves to roll around in his bath water, and coloring in his bath is a huge hit. John also is very good at brushing his teeth each night and is continuing to show interest in his potty chair. Summer has been great and our little explorer is certainly a happy camper!

We are going to add more plants around the rock areas

Our vsit with Mylie and Daxton

John loved sweet baby Daxton - John is usually the little one so this was a change for him :-)
Baby Daxton has tiny little toes...look at that adorable face...PRECIOUS!

John wanted to sit with Mylie too :-)
Yes, we had a very fun visit!

Our dear friend Mylie and her precious little 4 month old Daxton came to visit for a couple days. We had a wonderful time hanging out and enjoyed beautiful weather and time to just relax and catch up. We were so thrilled to meet Daxton for the first time - can't wait until next time!

We have lots of quail out here in Glenshire - they are very cool to see and watch.

Tumbling

John loves to jump, roll, run and most recently has taught himself to do somersaults! We have plush rugs on the deck and he tumbles all about - way to go John!
