Fourteen months old

A busy guy at Playzone...lots to see and explore!
Shovels are fun - lots of digging to be done at the farm :-)
Whoa...a train table - AWESOME!
Puzzles, puzzles and more puzzles - yay!
John is all about copying our actions...so fun for everyone :-)

What a wonderful month this has been for all of us. John is truly an amazing, busy, curious, loving and smart little boy. Weighing in at nearly 24 lbs and already 30 inches tall! He is really into talking, is very animated and loves to use gestures as he tells us all about his world. He is our little daredevil and loves to climb onto the couch, onto the ottoman, leap from the couch onto the ottoman and has even attempted to leap off the back of the couch. He has decided that he is a big boy and walks up and down the stairs as crawling is apparently for babies. He got his fifth tooth which has been helpful in chewing all the gourmet food that he likes to eat...like chicken Marsala, teriyaki salmon, sauteed broccoli, chard and collard greens, beets, polenta, orzo, rice and black bean cereal and much, much more. He loves to take our hands and guide us around the house. Sometime he is content with being a guide to just one of us. Other times he wants both mommy and daddy to go exploring. Anyone looking in the window must laugh to see Greg and I walking around the house for long periods of time - hee hee! He still loves bath time and spends much of his time swimming on his belly and kicking his feet, or splashing us, or putting all his bath toys on the edge of the tub in order. He makes everyone that he sees laugh and smile and comment about what a beautiful and happy child he is. John loves to dance and has some awesome moves. He also loves to give hugs and kisses and is so very sweet. We are excited to see what comes next - every day he amazes us and brings us so much happiness. We are so blessed for this wonderful little boy in our lives!

Tooth #5

On March 9th John's fifth tooth made it's grand entrance on the top left side. This tooth had been a white bump right under the gums for quite some time. Welcome little tooth!
