Hmmm.. I don't know of many cakes that need a big bottle of gin, but who knows?!
Also, do you have to hear the story of "spoon cake" over and over. Some cake they made that didn't bake or something like that?
Don't worry - the cake was gin free! As for spoon cake...I remember that well...delicious and made us smile!
